I came across this tutorial while browsing Pinterest yesterday. It seemed cheap, easy, and useful so I gave it a try this morning.
I decided that I wanted to make these to use by my bed in my apartment next year. We are lacking on space and pretty and practical ways to store things are always nice. I can put my glasses, reading light, zombie sleep mask, etc. in these little pockets. Also- earrings. I hate to sleep in earrings, but I always forget to take them out before I get in bed. Who wants to get out of bed just to take out earrings? Not this girl.
Here are a few pictures of my process. If you have questions on the size hoop or amount of fabric I used just ask! Head over to Abernathy Crafts to find the tutorial.
Thanks, Yvette for the inspiration and tutorial!

cute idea!
very cute! i love the idea of wall pockets – one of the kids i went to college with designed ‘wallpockets’ as his senior thesis and i have seen them being sold in a lot of places! great idea.
